Welcome to Baby Name Together. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Baby Name Together mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Linkinet, based in Toulouse, France.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Account Registration

You may create an account using your email address, or by signing in with Facebook, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

The Service allows you to connect your account with up to four partners by sharing email addresses. You are responsible for obtaining consent from any partner before adding their email to your account.

You may also use certain features of the Service without creating an account (anonymous mode), though functionality will be limited.

Description of the Service

Baby Name Together is a baby-naming application that helps couples and families find the perfect baby name. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• Browsing and swiping through a database of over 30,000 baby names from more than 40 countries.
• Matching names you and your partner(s) both like.
• Filtering names by gender, origin, theme, length, and other criteria.
• An AI-powered chat assistant for personalized name suggestions.
• Community features including forums, surveys, polls, and name battles.
• Creating and sharing baby announcement cards with custom photos.
• Viewing name statistics, popularity trends, and top name rankings.

Pro Subscription

Baby Name Together offers a free tier with advertisements and a Pro subscription that provides additional benefits, including ad-free browsing, early access to new names, and access to all name themes and categories.

Pro subscriptions are available as monthly recurring subscriptions or lifetime one-time purchases. On mobile devices (iOS and Android), billing is handled through the respective app store. On the web, billing is processed by Stripe.

Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel, manage your subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or your account settings on the web.

Refund requests for mobile purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. For web purchases, please contact us at the email address listed below.

User-Generated Content

The Service allows you to submit content, including but not limited to custom baby names, forum posts, survey questions, comments, profile photos, and announcement card images ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Linkinet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You agree not to submit User Content that is offensive, defamatory, illegal, sexually explicit, or that infringes on any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Community Guidelines

When using community features (forums, surveys, battles, comments), you agree to:

• Treat other users with respect and courtesy.
• Not post spam, advertising, or irrelevant content.
• Not harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
• Not impersonate other users or entities.
• Use the report and block features to flag inappropriate content or behavior.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove community content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, name database, graphics, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Linkinet and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

Advertisements

The free version of the Service displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these advertisements. Ad-related data collection is governed by the respective ad network's privacy policy. Upgrading to Pro removes all advertisements.

Disclaimer

The name suggestions, statistics, and information provided by the Service, including AI-generated recommendations, are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. We make no guarantees regarding the availability, legal suitability, or cultural appropriateness of any name in any jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linkinet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings ("Settings > Profile > Delete Account") or by contacting us via email. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our servers.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Toulouse, France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective as of" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
